User Support Overview
User Support is where you put Marketrix’s understanding of your product in front of your end users, and see what they need. Its one tool is the Widget.
What’s on the page
Section titled “What’s on the page”The page opens with what the Widget does: answer in context, show the way or take the steps, and show you what users need. Below that is a card for each Application. A card shows whether that Application’s Widget is active and, once it is, how many visitors are Live now, its recorded Sessions and the Questions users have asked. Click a card to open that Application’s support page.
An Application’s support page
Section titled “An Application’s support page”- Widget card — Shows Active or Not set up. Without a widget it opens widget setup; with one it opens the widget’s Settings. See Widget Setup.
- Model your real users — Build personas turns your widget’s real users into Personas. It opens a persona import with one file of their questions, each with its mode, and the pages their Sessions landed on. Review the proposed Personas before anything is saved.
- Insights — Once the widget exists: Live now, Sessions, Questions asked and Events recorded, a
30-day activity chart, then two lists.
- What users asked — every question asked through the widget, newest first, with the mode the user chose (Tell, Show or Do). Questions are kept for 90 days.
- Sessions — each recorded visit with its landing page and event count. Click one to replay it. See Session Recording.
The Widget page itself has two tabs: Details (Widget ID, Widget Key, Application and the Embed Script) and Settings (appearance, greeting, interaction modes and quick-action chips — see Widget Customization).
Playground — a live browser on your application
Section titled “Playground — a live browser on your application”Once a widget exists, the Widget page’s title bar shows Open Playground. It opens a fullscreen live browser pointed at your Application’s URL — a real cloud browser, not a preview.
- Use the product as a user would. Click through your application in the live view. Marketrix adds your widget to every page, so you can talk to it before you embed it on your site.
- The browser starts on open. Give it a moment while the browser boots and your application loads. If it can’t start, the view shows the error and a Try again option.
- Closing the view ends it. The browser is temporary — nothing is left running behind you.
This is the fastest end-to-end check after you change something. Add Knowledge, adjust widget settings, or run a Simulation, then re-open the Playground and ask again.
