Generating Personas
Personas are added from the Personas page — click Add Personas and pick how you want them made. Two of the three ways generate personas for you; the third lets you write one yourself.
The three ways to add personas
Section titled “The three ways to add personas”| Mode | What you provide | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| From Knowledge Base | How many personas you want | That many personas, grounded in everything Marketrix knows about your product |
| From Description | A description of the audience | As many personas as Marketrix determines that audience supports |
| Manually | Any fields you want to fix | Your fields kept, the rest completed for you to review and accept |
Generation usually takes about a minute. While it runs, the page shows that personas are being generated, and the grid fills in when it finishes — you don’t have to stay on the page.
What generation uses
Section titled “What generation uses”Marketrix grounds each generated persona in your Knowledge: it searches your product’s Knowledge Base for the most relevant context — typical users, customer segments, use cases, value propositions — and feeds that into the persona. With no relevant knowledge to draw on, it falls back to a more general profile based on your domain.
Each generated persona comes with its seven layers filled in, tags, and a Big Five and MBTI profile.
Starter personas during onboarding
Section titled “Starter personas during onboarding”When you’re getting started and don’t yet have your own audience data, Marketrix can suggest a starter set of personas for your website’s domain — a top set plus an additional set — that you can select from and save to your application. This is a quick way to seed a test population before real traffic arrives.
Editing a persona
Section titled “Editing a persona”A generated persona is a starting point, not a final word. Open one and choose Edit to refine its layers: edit any attribute’s value, add attributes, or remove them. See Persona Details for what a persona holds.
