All subscription management happens in Settings > Billing inside the Marketrix dashboard. From there you can view your current plan, check usage, change plans, and access the Stripe billing portal.

Viewing Your Current Plan and Usage

  1. Open the Marketrix dashboard
  2. Click Settings in the sidebar
  3. Select the Billing tab
At the top of the page you will see your current usage for the billing cycle:
  • Connected Apps — how many apps you have connected vs. your plan limit
  • Simulations Per Month — simulations used this cycle vs. your limit
  • User Prompts — total prompts consumed vs. your limit
Usage bars turn yellow at 70% and red at 90% so you can see at a glance when you are approaching your limits.

Starting a Free Trial

Starter plans come with a 30-day free trial. To start one:
  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Find the Starter plan card
  3. Click Get Started
  4. You will be taken through the Stripe checkout flow — no charge is made until the trial ends
During the trial you have full access to all Starter features. The billing page shows how many days remain.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Toggle between Monthly and Annual billing if you want to compare pricing (annual saves 20%)
  3. Find the plan you want and click Upgrade
  4. Complete checkout through Stripe
After checkout you are redirected back to the billing page with a confirmation message. Your new limits take effect immediately.

Downgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Find the lower-tier plan you want and click Downgrade
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear explaining what features you will lose
  4. Click Confirm Downgrade to proceed
The downgrade takes effect immediately. If your current usage exceeds the new plan’s limits (for example, you have 5 connected apps but the new plan allows 3), you will need to remove the excess resources.

Switching Billing Cycles

If you are on a Starter or Growth plan and want to switch between monthly and annual billing:
  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Toggle to the billing cycle you want (Monthly or Annual)
  3. On your current plan card, click Switch to Annual or Switch to Monthly
The change is prorated — you will receive credit for any unused time on your current cycle.

Accessing the Stripe Billing Portal

For detailed invoice history, payment method updates, and advanced billing management:
  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. On your current plan card, click Manage
  3. You will be redirected to the Stripe Customer Portal
From the Stripe portal you can:
  • View and download past invoices
  • Update your payment method (credit card, etc.)
  • Update your billing address
  • View upcoming charges

Canceling Your Subscription

  1. Go to Settings > Billing
  2. Click Manage on your current plan card to open the Stripe Customer Portal
  3. In the portal, click Cancel plan
After cancellation, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. When it expires, your account reverts to the Free plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period. When you downgrade, you receive a prorated credit that is applied to future invoices.
Marketrix uses Stripe for payments. You can pay with any major credit or debit card. Stripe also supports certain regional payment methods depending on your location.
Contact support@marketrix.ai if you need to discuss a refund. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Open the Stripe Customer Portal from Settings > Billing > Manage. All invoices are listed there and can be downloaded as PDFs.
If you do not add a payment method before the trial ends, your account reverts to the Free plan. You will not be charged automatically.
